You can search the world to your heart's content
to find that one person with a union to coerce.
But who lives simply by for better or for worse?
How can we live by example instead of putting on the ruse
of two people becoming one yet still remaining two?
Opposites attract while infatuation insists
to seek self-gratification with all virtue dismissed.
This desire seems to confine us in a box
all for a four letter word that dwells inside a paradox.
