The Italian bella Andrea Marie is hoping to make an impact in the modeling world. With voluptuous curves, she's set on becoming a top contender in Chicago. What's your name and the city you represent?
My name's Andrea Marie better known to the internet as The Italian Dimepiece. I'm repping Chi-Town to the fullest.
Your measurements?
I'm 5'6, 140, 38DD-29-40. All Natural.
How long have you been in the industry and what types of modeling have you done?
I haven't been in the game very long. I'd say no longer than about 7 and a half months. I actually just started a myspace page about a year ago, and I got some serious attention right away right away, so I decided to get some professional shoots done and here we are. So far I've only done glamour modeling. Lots of lingerie and bikini shoots, but I plan on broadening my horizons very soon.
What's outside the modeling world that sparks your interest?
Outside of the modeling world I love traveling. They do sort of go hand in hand, but I like a vacation when it's not all about doing a 4 hour or more photo shoot each day.
You know some females will go to a few shoots and have their pictures taken and all of a sudden they're "models". What's your take on that?
Well that's sort of how it happened for me. (Laughs) But no, I'm going to be serious about what I'm trying to do, and I'm only working with the best photographers money can buy. Keeping that "eye candy" persona about me always. There's no faking over here.
What's your definition of a true model?
A true model in my eyes is someone who can just make magic happen in front of a camera no matter if it's a professional shoot or a camera phone. It's all about being comfortable with who you are, and knowing that you have that "it" factor.
Do you plan on making modeling a career or secondary venture?
Modeling right now is what I'm focusing on as my main career, but in the meantime I do have a normal 9 to 5 gig. I work as a receptionist for my father's company. I want to eventually go back to school and take classes to work in child social services so I can have something to fall back on when I get older.
Any current projects that we should be on the look out for?
Yes, I do have some major things popping off. I will be featured in an upcoming issue of FBM Magazine and ASIS Magazine. Also, my website should be up and running January along with a calendar and other merchandise. I don't quite have the site name picked out yet, but all links will be found on my myspace page.
Who do you favor musically?
Musically, I'm into everything under the sun. Since I can't list all that, I'll just tell you what's in rotation right now. "Paper Trail" by T.I., "The Recession" by Young Jeezy, "The Humdinger" by Nappy Roots and then I have "Aquemini" by OutKast. That CD never leaves my player, it's classic!
One thing we always see in the magazines are questions about what a lady's "type" is. Inquiring minds want to know...
Hmm...well let's see I'm definitely into the whole "tall, dark and handsome" stereotype. I like a guy to be funny I can't stand boring guys! Respectful and tasteful because I can't be with a guy who has no sense of style and class and most importantly faithful. Too many "boys" be on the dummy mission when they meet girls but I'm too genuine. I need someone who will give their heart in return.
So if a guy approached you in public how could he get into your comfort zone?
If a guy came up to me in public, he'd have to have some serious game because I've grown up around all guys and I know what guys think right away. He'd have to be real respectful and not holler at me all loud and stupid in front of his friends. He'd have to come up and approach me low key. I'm real private when it comes to ish like that.
